If I could less than one star I would. I guess sometimes writers and readers grow apart as they continue to evolve, and that is what has happened with me and Christopher Moore. I didn't see any humor in this book, the plot was nonexistent with the same scene being repeated over and over. I won't ruin the ending for anyone, because I didn't make it there myself. As you read an author, you begin to expect certain things in their books. I didn't get any of the joy from this that I did in his first 5 or 6 books. That is two in a row now of his books that I can't connect with so I will be ending my reading relationship and moving on. For those of you who enjoy change, perhaps this book is for you. And if this is the first Christopher Moore book you read, and you like it, then good luck to you.
